Lord God, fill my heart with hope for a better life. Lift me that my foes may not rejoice over me. Give me the strength to live one step at a time. Help me to regard the works of your hands that hope may rise on the inside, and my faith may build up. I greatly rejoice in you, and with my song, I give you praise.
