Heavenly Father, you are my protector and provider, as the day draws to a close I find refuge in your arms. Your faithfulness is my shield that protects me from one day to the next. The darkness of night holds no fear for me as I look to you, the light of the world. I bring before you the worries that could disturb my sleep and ask that you would calm my mind as I lay in my bed. Let my thoughts settle on your goodness and your mercy as I fall asleep. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
