Faithful God, remember your promise to give your people hope. I need your hope when I feel hopeless. My comfort in suffering is this: that your promises will preserve my life. You have never broken a promise. You have never gone back on your word. Soothe me with the certainty of your faithful love. Help me to know that you will never turn your back on me.
