Heavenly Father, our comforter and friend, we come before your presence today to tell you how grateful we are to you. We extol you, dear God, for you are lifting us up in our time of sorrow. Thank you for comforting our hearts during this challenging season. Almighty God, thank you for engulfing us with your love. Please help us to continue to find comfort in you alone. Strengthen us as we say our final goodbyes to the departed. We bless you, Lord, for you are a wonderful Father. In Jesus’ merciful name, we believe and pray, Amen.
