Our Father, thank you for being a compassionate God and for loving us both. Please, Father, help us to be compassionate and sensitive to one another’s needs. Please comfort us both in this time of pain and turmoil. We are crushed, disappointed and embittered. But from this, dear Father, deliver us and once again forge a strong union between us. I pray that we will always be victorious and that we will never abandon each other, as you have never abandoned us. Amen.
