Compassionate Lord, I thank you that when I am miserable you do not turn your back on me. You know each and every tear I cry and the circumstances that caused them. When I feel like no one understands, remind me that you understand. When I feel like no one cares, remind me that you care. When it feels like the whole world is against me, help me to feel secure in the knowledge that you are for me. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
