O Lord Jesus, you were compassionate towards those that came to you for healing, and since you never change, I ask you to be compassionate towards me. Heal me from this addiction, please, Lord, for I am tired of living like this. I have tried to quit drugs and alcohol several times, but I keep going back. Lord, I can’t do it alone. Look upon me with loving kindness and rescue me. Deliver me and help me to become a testimony among those who know me. Use me as a vessel to show the world how good you are, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
