Death Defeated Prayer

Name above all Names, thank you for being the resurrection and the life, death holds no power over you. Protect me with your grave-conquering power. Your word says that I can do all things through you, who gives me strength. I trust in the power of your name to protect me when I am in danger, to sustain me when I feel weary, to carry me when I fall down, to rescue me when I am lost. Hear my prayer today, Lord, because of the great compassion you have on your children. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
