Lord Jesus, the truth is I do not understand my spouse anymore, and I don’t know how to go about it. Please give me a deeper understanding of who my spouse is and how to help them. Help me to understand why my partner behaves the way he does and how to go about it without causing more friction in our marriage. Dear Jesus, help me to set aside selfishness so that I can love my partner the way you love me. In Jesus’ name, I believe and pray, Amen.
