O Lord my God, in my sin I have avoided your call and command. My love for you is like a morning cloud, like the dew that goes away early. Have mercy on me; deliver me from judgment; bind up my wounds and revive me. You are the almighty God, who sent his Son into the world to save sinners. Hear my prayer of confession and bring me your pardon and peace, now and forever. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
