Father of Mercies, my heart breaks for my children. They loved their father so much, and now he is no more. I honestly don’t know how to help them come into terms with his demise. Lord, take over and be their father, for you are a father to the fatherless. Show them how much you love them that they may turn to you in their distress instead of the pleasures of this world. Let your loving-kindness be upon their lives forever. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
