Eternal Father, I often wander away and stray from your ways like a lost sheep. I have followed the desires of my own heart. I have left undone those things that I should have done; and I have done those things that I should not have done. But you, O Lord of mercy, are the Good Shepherd who pursues lost sheep. Forgive and restore me, according to your promises which never fail. Help me to live a righteous and godly life, to the glory of your holy name. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
