Holy Lord, I can not count the number of times I have failed and sinned against you and against others. Although there is a long list of accusations against me, I praise you that every item on that list can be forgiven through the redeeming work of Jesus on the cross. My transgressions will not stand against me, for all of them have been laid on Christ. Help me to subdue my sin, and grant me the grace to live a life worthy of you. Rule over me as my loving and gracious king. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
