Father, I am stuck in this prison of drugs and alcohol addiction, and I don’t know how to get out. Come to my rescue. Lord, stretch your hand and draw me out of this habit. Please have mercy on me, Father, according to your loving-kindness. Wash me thoroughly with the blood of your Son Jesus and cleanse me from the effects of drugs and alcohol. Uphold me by your generous spirit so that I may not fall back to addiction. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
