Wonderful Counselor, thank you that your work is perfect, your ways are just, you are a God of faithfulness. Your word says that apart from you I can do nothing. As I approach my surgery, I am increasingly aware that I need to trust you and not rely on my own strength. My strength comes from you. Give me assurance that you are always watching over me with care and compassion. May I grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To you be glory both now and for ever.
