Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that, even though I have wandered away from you, you have pursued me. You left the riches of heaven to seek me out. You paid the cost that my sin deserved. By your blood, I have redemption and salvation. You died in my place and I receive your righteousness. In your resurrection, I receive newness of life, through grace and grace alone. Awaken my sleeping soul. Shine your light of love into my heart. Help me to run my race by putting my faith in you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
