Lord Jesus Christ, you said ‘Let the children come to me. Do not stop them’. As we present this child before you today for baptism, we thank you that you know each of us by name. We commit to pray for this child and help them follow you. We ask that you would send your Holy Spirit to fill them with your presence. May this child find true freedom in you. Lord, bless him/her and keep him/her, make your face shine upon him/her. Turn your face towards him/her and give him/her peace. In your mighty name, Amen.
