Light of the World Prayer

Compassionate Father, thank you that you are the light of the world, guiding my steps on your path. As I walk through the darkness, protect me with your everlasting light. You have said that you will fight for me while I remain still, rooted in you. I declare with confidence that you are my salvation, I will not be afraid, what can anyone do to me when you are by my side? Give me the strength to walk faithfully in love for all the days of my life. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
