Lord, I am having a rough time. My partner and I have agreed to work on our marriage, and I want to do that with all my heart, but I keep struggling on the inside because I’m afraid of being disappointed again. I am becoming anxious on the inside, and this is making me lose my patience. I keep getting agitated by everything because I don’t know how to handle what is happening. Draw me back to the days when I was not hard on my spouse. Give me patience so that I can be kind and compassionate towards my partner. Drown my anxiety with your everlasting love and fill me with peace. In Jesus’ name, I believe and pray, Amen.
