Prayer for Death’s Defeat

All-Powerful Father, my heart breaks for my loved one who has been lost in battle. You say there will be a new heaven and a new earth. You will dwell among us, and death will be no more. My loved one trusted in You, Father, so I know my fallen hero is there with You now. I pray that You would wipe every tear from my beloved warrior’s eyes and fill them with Your joy until we are reunited. I celebrate the defeat of our greatest enemy, death! Amen.
