Righteous Savior, I pray against the pain left by racism, bigotry, hatred, stereotypes and prejudice. I pray that those who still suffer from these sins will be healed by the presence of your overwhelming peace and love. Lord, help us not to hate each other, because whoever hates a brother or a sister is in darkness and walks in darkness. So, Father, take away the pain that is associated with these memories. May experiences of racism, judgment and exclusion empower those who have been affected by them. May their hearts be filled with peace. That’s what we pray, Amen.
