Prayer to Develop Healthy Expectations

God of Wisdom, I pray that You will guide and teach me in realistic and healthy expectations for my future spouse. Lord, reset my thinking so that my values line up with Yours. Help me not be influenced by the world’s standards of beauty and character, but on what You say. Help me take inventory of what I think about and what my heart desires, and assist me in making certain that I’m in tune with what You desire and find worthy. Amen.
