Prayer to Understand God’s Love

God of Love, we ask that You would bless our friend who is so sick – may he experience an overwhelming sense of Your love. May our friend understand that You are not against him, but You are for him, and that nothing can separate him from Your love. Fill him with the conviction that there is no power in the heaven above or earth below that can stand in the way of Your love. Help him to lay hold of the promise that overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loves us. Amen.
