Merciful Father, thank you that you are my refuge and my fortress. May I find refuge in you from the pressures and difficulties of the word and have my strength renewed each day. May I find protection in you from enemy attacks and have your peace bring rest to my soul. Energize me so that I am able to do everything I need. May your Spirit dwell in my heart through faith so that I may have the strength to know the love of Christ that surpasses all knowledge. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
