Gracious God, thank you that you are with me through this process of childbirth. Pour out your Holy Spirit upon my child. May your Spirit surround and protect us both. May we find rest in your secure arms, let our hearts be filled with the joy of the Lord. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
