Prayer Against Fear

Oh Lord, Rock of our Salvation, I intercede for my friend who is experiencing such fear in this battle against their disease. Remind my friend that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but a Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Help my friend to call on Your Name when fear rises up, and to rest in Your embrace. Surround my friend with the shield of Your favor; be a shelter and a refuge. Amen.
