Dear God, the plague of alcohol has left a mark on this family for years. I cannot begin to list the pains that drunkenness has brought into our home, nor the pains that have been created during the many ordeals. Please, act swiftly to end this curse. May the love of sin be replaced with the love of Christ, and may our generations be restored to wholeness, even after the damage that has occurred. I ask in Jesus’s name. Amen.
