Everlasting Father, you are my rock and my strength. As the day draws to a close, I am reminded of how often I failed to acknowledge you in everything I did today. Your word says that all my labor is in vain unless you build the house. Lord, let everything I do be built on your foundation. Help me to sleep secure in your presence with the knowledge that I am loved by you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and restore my strength to face tomorrow. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
